Job summary
The Primary Care Treatment Centre is looking for an organized person who excels in communication. You will support a team of nurses providing an appointment-based service within Llandudno Community Hospital.
The role includes answering telephones, booking appointments, and compiling paperwork. A good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Welsh PAS would be advantageous.
The post is 22.5 hours per week, spread over 4-5 days.
Main duties of the job
1. Offer general assistance to service providers and users, projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors, either in person or via telephone.
2. Receive, assist, and direct patients to the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient manner.
3. Undertake various administrative duties to support the smooth running of the General Office, including clerical support to clinical staff and team members.
4. Facilitate effective communication between patients, staff, secondary care, and other healthcare and wellbeing agencies.
5. The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
