Field Services Manager, Hands Off (Consultancy, Testing)

£40,000 to £50,000 + Company Benefits
Are you a Field Services Manager or similar, from an engineering or technical background or similar, looking to take the next steps in your career into a hands-off role where you will be managing Field Service Engineers nationwide?

On offer is the exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer/Manager to join a leading building service consultancy. Established in the 1950's, this not-for-profit organisation has become one of the global leaders in building research, testing and development, impacting everyone's lives in some way or another, and setting in place many of the worlds, and especially the UK's standards.
In this role, the successful Field Service Manager would be responsible for managing the fleet of engineers across the UK. Managing the general day to day as well as improving overall efficiency within the team and general performance. Implementing new processes as needed, championing a good working culture and ultimately getting the team to its full potential.
The ideal Field Services Manager would have come from either an engineering, building services, consulting background or similar and be comfortable managing in a hands-off role where there will be a lot of pressure to get the job done properly. There will also be occasional travel nationwide which will be fully expensed.
The Role:
* Lead, mentor and support field service engineers.
* Improve overall performance of the team.
* Champion a good working culture.
* Recruiting, hiring, and training etc.
* Manage daily operations.
The Person:
* Field Service Manager or similar.
* Local to Bracknell.
* Happy to travel when needed.
