Overview
The sales rep will be responsible for contacting customers by telephone to promote the Accord Proposition and portfolio, securing orders and developing relationships, working in line with agreed individual and department sales targets.
The Accord Proposition is a commercial offering designed for our customers, with the aim of positioning Accord as a preferred supplier of medicines. There are a variety of benefits, not only including price but also in terms of simplicity, service levels, added value and time saving elements, rewards and tailored solutions that complement customers preferred methods of purchasing.
This role will include an all of UK client list and will involve cold and warm leads.
This role will also give the opportunity to work towards a nationally recognised industry qualification (ABPI).
The Person
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English – also a good level of computer literacy, including Excel
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic
* A confident telephone manner with excellent relationship building skills
* A strong team player with the ability to work on their own initiative
* Experience of working in a highly regulated or compliant environment
* An interest within the Life Science / Pharmaceutical sector
