Overview
Family Support Teams
Our two Family Support Teams have considerably expanded in order to meet demand, and we need the right staff to fill those new roles.
These teams work with families on a longer term plan, looking to utilise all parts of their networks to minimise risk to children and build resilience. They are involved in all aspects of work, including planning and review for children receiving care and support as well as those with a child protection plan, or until court proceedings conclude. Work in this team is about helping people work out what matters to them and then helping them achieve their goals. Workers here are able to be kind, consistent and focussed in their work with children, young people and families.
