<div><h3>Position Overview</h3><p>We’re seeking an <b>experienced Litigator</b> to join our team as <b>Lead Paralegal</b>, responsible for managing a caseload of defendant motor credit hire claims and delivering high‑quality legal services to our insurer clients.</p><p>The role is hybrid with office attendance required in Liverpool 2 days per week (Monday & Tuesday are the team’s office days).</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Assist fee earners and qualified individuals with a caseload of Credit Hire claims, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Conduct legal research and draft documents, including defences, witness statements, and settlement agreements.</li><li>Liaise with clients, insurers, and third parties to ensure effective communication and case progression.</li><li>Provide support to senior fee earners and contribute to team targets.</li><li>Ensure compliance with DWF’s standards and regulatory requirements.</li></ul><h3>What Will Help You Succeed</h3><ul><li>Proven experience handling and/or assisting on a caseload including Credit Hire or Motor claims.</li><li>Strong litigation knowledge and confidence dealing with Part 7 and Part 8 proceedings.</li><li>Excellent organisational skills and the ability to support on a varied caseload.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.</li><li>A proactive approach, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.</li></ul><h3>EEO Statement</h3><p>We are an equal‑opportunity employer that celebrates diversity and is committed to an inclusive environment for all.</p></div>
