A leading manufacturer of complex components and solutions to the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence and Energy sectors has a new vacancy for a Senior Quality Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring products meet with customer requirements, driving continuous improvement and the development of the Quality Management System.
The Role
* Develop and maintain the QMS (Quality Management System).
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
* Work closely with engineering & production to improve product quality to ensure the highest quality standards.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
* Develop a good working relationship with customers on new product launches and improvements.
* Management of audit plans and coordinating audit closure.
* Support New Product Introduction and Advance Product Quality Planning.
* Uphold processes that ensure health, safety and environmental best practices.
The Person
* Proven experience in a quality function within a highly regulated and fast paced manufacturing environment (aerospace, automotive, defence, energy).
* A good understanding of managing a Quality Management System.
* Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Excellent understanding of quality assurance management principles and practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
