About the role
1. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, with a basic week is 47.5hrs, with an hourly rate of £13.04 per hour and overtime paid at time and a half.
2. AM SHIFT - 0600AM - 1630PM.
What will I be doing?
You will operate a counterbalance forklift truck to both feed the raw material and load out the sorted bales of recovered material.
This role involves:
3. You will operate the production equipment and carry out quality sampling checks.
4. You will assist with the resolution of plant stoppages / blockages.
5. You will carry out housekeeping duties in line with our 5’s lean objectives.
6. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be involved with the day-to-day recycling operations at our customers sites in the Poole or Portland region.
7. You will work with our customers to maximise reduce, reuse and recycle of waste materials produced at the site.
8. You will control the exchange of containers by booking loads with the relevant person, thus ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
9. You will maintain a safe and tidy site within your areas of responsibility.
10. Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role
What are the requirements?
11. You must hold an RTITB or ITSSAR credited Counterbalance license
12. Previous Counterbalance experience would be desirable

17. Previous experience within the waste industry or other high-volume production processes is an advantage, but not a necessity (training will be given).
