Due to the remote location of the service, a full driving licence is essential.
You will be part of the team delivering our Domestic Abuse Services, which include safe accommodation services (refuge) and community-based services (early help and outreach). You will ensure that our customers receive excellent support using a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, centered around their aims and aspirations. You will work alongside our customers to make them feel safe, satisfied with the service, and to help them access opportunities to enhance their lives and wellbeing.
About you
* You will be central in ensuring that our customers have outcome-based safety and support plans that meet their aims and aspirations.
* You will support our customers to manage risk and take positive risks to improve their wellbeing, working with other agencies for a holistic approach.
* You will be involved in referrals, risk assessments, and supporting the team to maintain safety and adherence to legislation and safeguarding procedures.
* You will actively engage with customers and stakeholders to ensure the service excels.
* You will support customers to connect with the community, gaining networks and opportunities through volunteering, training, and work.
* You will advocate for customers by understanding their lived experiences and recognizing their expertise.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Be an advocate for customers, understanding their experiences.
* Have relevant experience in this field.
* Be capable of handling difficult and complex situations.
* Work effectively with vulnerable customers.
* Have support and safety planning experience.
