Director – MIP Advisory

The MIP Advisory business is one of the fastest growing dynamic teams within PwC’s Deals offering and is part of the largest management equity advisory business in Europe. Agreeing and implementing a management equity plan (MIP) is a key step in closing deals and driving value creation under new ownership. The team supports a wide array of private equity clients and management teams across global, pan‑European and UK domestic deals annually. The team sits within the wider Lead Advisory and Valuations business and is closely integrated with PwC Deals Tax, PwC Corporate Finance and PwC Legal as part of a multidisciplinary offering in the MIP space.
About The Role

Responsibilities Include
* Contribute to the team’s strategic vision and transformation journey and help lead a team of 30+ individuals.
* Lead on business development activities and win new work in the market.
* Nurture our key client relationships.
* Lead and coach teams to deliver a wide range of commercial MIP Advisory services for our sponsor, private business and corporate channels.
* Present sector and technical insight both internally and externally to grow the profile of the team.
Essential Skills And Experience
* Strong PE MIP, general private equity and deal structuring experience.
* A strong appreciation of value creation objectives in deals.
* Technical LBO skills and experience with leveraged equity instruments.
* Ideally educated to degree level with ACA (or equivalent) or CFA qualified/part qualified.

* Proven ability to sell advisory services and develop new business relationships with clients.
* Commercial awareness and passion for the deal environment.
* Passionate about client service.
* Highly motivated self‑starter with a desire to succeed.
* Strong communicator both oral and written.
