(INTERNAL ONLY) Housing Development Officer – 1 Year Fixed-Term – 15 hrs 2 days a week
As we continue to grow, Tai Tarian is looking for a self-motivated Housing Development Officer responsible for implementing the end-to-end process in acquiring Welsh Government TACP (Transitional Accommodation Capital Programme) funded properties.
The role is a 1-year fixed-term contract covering maternity leave for 12 months, with a salary of £33,879 per year, rising to £37,548 (pro rata) after meeting key competencies of the role.
Criteria for Role:
To be successful as a Housing Development Officer, candidates should be educated to level 4 or possess knowledge in property acquisitions and meeting housing needs through Affordable Housing, or have relevant transferable skills.
About the role
The Housing Development Officer source and review property acquisition opportunities from open market adverts and direct contact leads, liaising with solicitors, conveyancers, valuers, surveyors, and other relevant professionals regarding property acquisition matters. The role also involves utilizing data to advise on the type, size, location, features, and management considerations of future housing developments, enabling timely and cost-effective decisions by the Development and Housing Teams.
