AfC Band 4 (pro rata) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,750.47 per annum (pro rata)

Hours – 28.8 hours a week

Contract Duration – Permanent

Post Details – We are seeking an experienced and highly organised individual to join our Clinical Administration Team, where you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Nursing Directorate. This is a varied and rewarding position, offering the opportunity to play a key role in supporting departmental projects and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities

* Deliver a full secretarial and administrative service to the Nursing Directorate, supporting departmental projects and initiatives including absence management and performance targets.
* Manage and maintain files and computerised records across systems such as SSTS, RiO, and Optima eRostering.
* Organise and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and produce reports as required.
* Provide secretarial support to senior staff, including the Business Development Manager and other key roles within the directorate.
* Offer reception cover during breaks and periods of absence, ensuring a seamless service at all times.


Experience

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a secretarial or administrative role within a fast‑paced environment. They will demonstrate exceptional organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively and work to tight deadlines.
