Responsibilities

* Maintenance of high-quality patient centered care
* Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service
* Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service
* Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity
* Delivery and development of SACT administration
* Active participation in continuing medical education
* Active participation in trial research activities, The post is suitable for those with an interest in Pain Medicine service provision requirements. The post holder will be expected to be flexible in their approach to working patterns, undertaking theatre work on any site when required. A strong commitment to the training and education of trainees and other staff members is also expected.

Secondments / Fixed term

Employment Details

* 12 months fixed‑term post available at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
* Optional part‑time flexibility: position comprised of 10 PA's, but can be modified for candidates preferring less than full time.
* Compensation and conditions comparable to existing pain services.
