Graphic Designer Temp - £17.58 per hour
We’re looking for a highly skilled Graphic Designer specialising in learning and training materials to join a Learning Product Team. Working for a leading Professional Membership organisation. With offices close to Charing Cross.
Working 35 hours per week. Almost entirely remote working. This is an ongoing temp post.
This is a remote-first role focused on turning complex professional development content into clear, instructionally aligned visual assets. You’ll work closely with Learning Product Managers to design graphics that support learning — not marketing — ensuring every visual improves comprehension, reduces cognitive load, and enhances learner engagement across digital and print formats.
What You’ll Do:
* Translate briefs into effective learning visuals, including:
* Instructional diagrams and conceptual graphics
* Infographics explaining processes and frameworks
* Learning-focused icon systems
* Simple animations to support digital content
* Design assets for:
* Self-paced digital learning
* Facilitated training (virtual and in-person)
* Printed materials (handbooks, workbooks, slide decks)
* Apply instructional design principles to ensure visuals:
* Reinforce learning objectives
* Improve clarity and visual hierarchy
* Align with brand and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2)
* Conduct quality assurance checks before publication
* Collaborate across teams in a largely remote environment
Knowledge & Experience
* Strong understanding of instructional design principles (cognitive load, visual hierarchy, learning-focused communication)
* Experience designing for corporate L&D, professional development, or educational content
* Proven work across digital learning, instructor-led training, and print materials
* Experience creating accessible learning assets (WCAG compliance)
* Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM-compliant content
* Experience with motion graphics and basic video/audio editing
Technical Skills
* Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects)
* Canva, Figma, and similar tools
* Confident working within brand guidelines while adapting them for learning clarity
