We are looking for an experienced Care Assistant as part of our Dovecote Lodge Care Team.
Responsibilities
* Support the Rehab and Recovery Unit and provide person‑centred care and support for service users.
* Communicate the needs of service users to management and maintain good relations between service users, staff, and visitors.
* Enable service users to maintain or regain their independence, individuality, and dignity.
* Work within the Rehab and Recovery Unit, ensuring flexibility to work across the district.

Essential Requirements
* GCSE grades D–G or Functional Skills Level 1 in Maths & English Language.
* NVQ Level 2 in Social Care.
* Understanding of safe manual handling techniques.
* Knowledge of safeguarding adults.
* Minimum of two years’ experience working with older adults and an understanding of their differing complex care needs.
