Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an interim Accounts Receivable Assistant to join a client based in the heart of Bristol within a busy team. It is essential for this individual to be comfortable communicating in German as well as English.
The temporary contract is for an initial period of 3 circa months with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months with potential to become permanent
Hourly rate: £13.00 - £14.30 + holiday pay
Hybrid working - 2 in the office, 3 from home
Working hours - Full time is 37.5 hours per week
You will use your skills to:
1. Accountable for transaction processing in a timely and accurate manner
2. Reconcile balance sheet accounts each month end
3. Reconcile daily bank feeds to ensure remittances recorded accurately
4. Prepare, reconcile, and analyse weekly debt reporting
5. Follow credit control procedures to support the business in collecting outstanding debts
6. Manage customer deposit accounts and returns
7. Work with the wider team to prepare commercial invoicing and reporting
Required experience/background:
8. At least 12 months of experience working within a similar role - finance administration, invoicing etc
9. Accountable and ability to work to deadlines
10. Comfortable with communicating in German - writing and speaking
11. High attention to detail and ability to problem solve
12. Excellent communications skills in both written and oral English
13. Computer literate
