Responsibilities
* To be responsible and accountable for the assessment of care needs, the development of care plans, and the implementation and evaluation of programs of care without supervision. Participate in the teaching and supervision of nursing, ODP and non-nursing staff.
* The post-holder will be innovative in maintaining an environment that is conducive to the delivery and maintenance of a high standard of patient care and the establishment of good communication and relationships between staff, patients, relatives and visitors.
* To be responsible and accountable for the management of a group of patients and, without supervision, lead a team of Theatre Practitioners. The post-holder will be designated to take charge of a theatre or appropriate area of responsibility in the absence of the person who has continuing responsibility.
