Following an impressive doubling of turnover over the last 12 months, this organisation continues on a strong growth trajectory and is investing in its finance function to support future expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to take full ownership of the function and play a key role within a high‑performing finance team.
The role reports into senior finance leadership and you will take full responsibility for the Accounts Payable function, leading, managing, and developing a team of five direct reports. You will be responsible for ensuring a robust, efficient, and scalable AP process in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
* End‑to‑end ownership of the Accounts Payable function
* Line management and development of a team of 5
* Overseeing and improving 3‑way invoice matching processes
* Potential to progress and manage AR in future
* Driving process improvements and efficiencies in line with business growth
* Ensuring strong controls, accuracy, and timely processing of supplier payments
* Acting as a key stakeholder across the wider finance team and business

* Proven people management experience (essential)
* Strong experience with 3‑way invoice matching (essential)
