Collaboration For Kids - CFK
Research analyst
Posted: 12 February
Offer description

You will play a crucial role in collecting, analysing and interpreting data from surveys to provide valuable insights for decision-making and strategic planning. Your findings will contribute to the development of CFK interventions and the achievement of our project goals.

What difference will you make?

The Research Analyst role will provide vital support to The CFK by ensuring that all interventions, initiatives, and campaigns are grounded in reliable, data-driven insights. At its core, CFK aims to improve public health outcomes, particularly those related to nutrition and healthy living among children and adolescents. This role strengthens that mission by bringing an evidence-based approach to programme design and evaluation, enabling CFK to make informed decisions that truly create measurable impact.

One of the primary contributions of the Research Analyst will be in developing and implementing high-quality surveys that capture accurate, relevant, and timely data. This information will help CFK to understand patterns of dietary behaviour, the barriers families face in accessing healthy food, and the impact of current interventions. Through careful collection and analysis, the Research Analyst will highlight what strategies are working, where improvements are needed, and how resources can be best directed. This ensures that CFK's initiatives are both effective and responsive to the real needs of the communities it serves.

The insights generated will also enhance CFK's ability to demonstrate outcomes to funders, partners, and policymakers. By producing robust data and clear evidence of success, the Research Analyst helps strengthen the organisation's credibility and influence in the public health and charity sectors. Their findings can be translated into persuasive reports, infographics, and presentations that communicate the tangible difference CFK's programmes make. This evidence base not only supports fundraising and partnership opportunities but also informs the next generation of interventions, creating a dynamic cycle of learning and improvement.

Beyond data collection, the Research Analyst will play an important role in embedding research integrity and analytical rigour across the organisation. They will help build internal capacity, sharing good practice, supporting colleagues to understand data, and encouraging reflective, evidence-led decision-making. In doing so, they contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, where innovation is guided by insight rather than assumption.

Ultimately, this role will help The CFK move closer to its vision of a healthier, better-informed generation of children. By turning information into understanding, and understanding into action, the Research Analyst ensures that every initiative CFK undertakes is measurable, meaningful, and maximises its positive impact on public health.
