An exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Trainer with strong legal sector experience and advanced AI knowledge to support the firm-wide rollout of Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled technologies.
This role sits within the IT Service Delivery team and will play a key part in driving technology adoption, productivity improvements and digital innovation across the business. The successful candidate will combine day-to-day IT training with leading AI training initiatives, ensuring colleagues maximise the value of modern workplace technologies.
Working closely with the existing IT Trainer and wider IT team, the role will focus on delivering impactful training, supporting new joiner inductions and embedding AI-powered tools into daily workflows.
The Role
This position has been created to support the rollout and adoption of AI technologies across the firm, with a particular focus on Microsoft Copilot. You will design and deliver engaging training that helps both legal and business services teams integrate new technologies into their day-to-day work.
Alongside project-based AI training, you will support business-as-usual IT training, including induction programmes and ongoing user support.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver training to legal and business services teams on Microsoft 365, AI tools and firm-supported applications
* Support the firm-wide rollout and adoption of Microsoft Copilot and generative AI technologies
* Partner with IT teams, delivery leads, business analysts and solution architects to identify training needs and improve technology usage
* Analyse user workflows and recommend improvements through training and technology adoption
* Provide one-to-one coaching and desk-side support to improve productivity and system usage
* Design, develop and deliver engaging training programmes for both new and existing technologies
* Deliver training through classroom sessions, remote learning, desk-side support and workshops
* Create and maintain training materials, user guides, videos and eLearning content
* Support new joiner IT inductions
* Maintain and update content within the Learning Management System (LMS)
* Track adoption and user feedback to refine training and improve user engagement
* Stay up to date with AI developments, Microsoft 365 enhancements and industry best practice
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience delivering IT training within a law firm
* Strong understanding of legal workflows and legal technology environments
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and OneNote
* Strong experience using Microsoft Copilot or other generative AI tools, including prompt engineering
* Experience delivering AI or digital innovation training
* Experience with NetDocuments
* Experience supporting mobile devices and associated applications
* Experience delivering remote training via Microsoft Teams or similar platforms
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple training priorities
