We are seeking an experienced and passionate Art Teacher ready to take the next step in their career by leading a thriving Art department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Art across KS3 to KS5, managing a small team, and overseeing curriculum planning, assessment, and student outcomes.
The Art department is a core part of the school’s identity, offering students access to painting, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, and digital media. Facilities include spacious studios, a kiln room, Mac suite, and on-site gallery. The school hosts an annual art exhibition, collaborates with local galleries, and supports students applying for Art Foundation and creative university courses.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a current Head of Art or an experienced Art Teacher ready for a leadership position.
Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified Art Teacher with leadership experience or strong potential
• Proven success at KS3–KS5 and passion for developing creativity
• Strong curriculum knowledge and ability to mentor colleagues
• Formal teaching qualification with QTS
• Legal right to work in the UK
