The appointee will be expected to participate in all aspects of clinical governance as developed by the Trust to monitor, maintain and develop the quality and effectiveness of care. The successful appointee will be expected to participate in 8 clinical sessions including clinics, inpatient ward work, and MDT. There are two sessions of postgraduate education and the expectation is that these will be used for either education or research. A degree of flexibility for these sessions is built into the timetable and the successful appointee will be expected to work flexibly. Timetables will be rotated after 6 months to ensure exposure to all neuro-ophthalmic specialist clinics.
