Live-in Housekeeper Required (Chinnor, OX)
Position: Part-Time Live-In Housekeeper (with Separate Two-Bedroom Cottage)
Location: Chinnor, Oxfordshire, OX39
Hours: 30 hours per week (5 days per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £15,000 - £20,000 per annum
Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and diligent housekeeper to assist with the upkeep of a wonderful family home and support their busy household. With two boys aged 10 and 12 years old, along with two lovable dogs, the home is filled with energy and laughter, and we are looking for someone who shares a passion for creating a happy and harmonious environment. This role may suit someone who is studying, the family are also open to a couple living in the accommodation, with the partner having their own employment.
Responsibilities:
* General cleaning and tidying of the household, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and laundry.
* Walking and caring for our two dogs, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve.
* Running errands and completing household tasks as required, such as grocery shopping and light gardening.
* Occasionally picking up one or both of the boys from school and supervising them until their parents return.
* Assisting with occasional meal preparations, ensuring the family is well-fed and nourished.
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in housekeeping, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to cleaning.
* Comfortable with dog care, including walking, feeding, and providing companionship.
* Reliable and trustworthy, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
* Driver is essential (own car is preferred for personal use).
