Learning Support Assistant
Andover | Start Date: September 2025 or sooner
Full-time | Temporary (possibility of permanent)
Are you a caring and driven individual who’s passionate about helping children reach their potential? We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school based in Andover for two terms or longer.
Hourly rate: £13.75.
Vetting checks will be required prior to interview process.
Your Role Will Include:
* Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom
* Working one-to-one and in small groups to provide tailored support
* Helping to create a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Encouraging children to be confident, resilient learners with high expectations
* Celebrating successes and helping children believe in themselves
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children in a primary school setting
* Is committed, enthusiastic, and nurturing
* Is a team player with excellent communication skills
* Has experience with primary children in a school-based setting
* Has a passion for education and the well-being of children
* Is confidence in basic Maths and English
