Based at our academy in Walsall, this role involves extensive coordination, including resource planning, partnership work, fundraising, developing new services and risk assessment. Administrative responsibilities will encompass maintaining confidential records, running the Walsall Connected service and ensuring compliance with relevant policies. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Community Project Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive action plans for ‘Croft Connects,’ considering resources, timelines and budgets to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Provide one to one support, advice and guidance: Actively run the Walsall Connected initiative, establishing the ‘Croft Connects’ hub as a connected centre, providing more in-depth support where required. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, other TEFAT hub coordinators, school staff, and community partners including the VCS Locality Leads to facilitate seamless communication and coordination, ensuring alignment with the project's overarching objectives. Community Needs Assessment: Conduct regular consultations with the local community to identify evolving needs, preferences, and challenges, shaping services accordingly. Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources for the food bank/pantry, support services, workshops, and community events, ensuring optimal utilisation and impact. Outreach: Implement strategies to bring the community together, reduce isolation, and foster social cohesion through events, activities, and support services. Volunteer Recruitment and Management: Recruit, train, and manage a 'Croft Community Group' of volunteers to support and drive the hub's activities, promoting community involvement and ownership. Event Coordination: Plan and execute a number of community events, coffee mornings and workshops. Impact Measurement and Evaluation: Develop an outcomes framework, supported by comprehensive record keeping of all actions taken, to shape future service delivery and build a compelling case for continued funding. Ensuring Sustainability: Identify and apply for potential funding opportunities to ensure continued development of the Croft Connects Service. Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports, and provide regular updates on project status to all stakeholders. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance tests to ensure that project standards and requirements are met, maintaining a commitment to high-quality service delivery. Community Networking: To maintain up to date working knowledge of community projects that could be used to further improve community integration with ‘Croft Connects’ hub and to work with all protected characteristic groups, especially those which are seldom heard or under-represented. Finance : Completing grant applications and monitoring the financial health of the various activities/funding streams Property & Facilities Management - ensuring any necessary repairs are identified and overseeing safety & security measures.
