Role Overview
You will play a key role in managing import and export customs declarations, advising clients on compliance matters, and ensuring efficient cross-border movement of goods. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of UK and Irish customs procedures, is detail-oriented, and thrives under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and submit accurate import/export customs declarations
* Advise clients on classification, valuation, and origin of goods
* Ensure all customs paperwork complies fully with regulatory standards
* Liaise with HMRC, Irish Revenue, freight forwarders, and clients to ensure smooth clearance
* Assist in training and mentoring junior team members
* Keep abreast of changes in customs legislation and trade regulations
Requirements
* Experience doing customs clearances or international trade compliance
* Solid knowledge of UK and Irish customs processes, transit movements, and tariff codes
* Proficiency with customs software platforms
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
