Your new role
Wilkie operate with an upromisingmitment to forming successful partnerships with customers. This fosters collaborative and innovative thinking, enabling Wilkie to cement their place in the supply chain by focussing on and delivering the needs and wants of the customers’ customer. This is referred to as the Wilkie Advanced Textile Technology proposition. The Sales Manager will play a key role in a highly motivated and technicallypetent team, optimising sales activity to ensure the Advanced Textile Technology proposition is delivered successfully across UK and European markets. Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the point of contact for UK and European customers at the Wilkie Group
2. Responsible for maintaining and implementing professional and formal sales processes for the sales operations in UK and Europe
3. Responsible for maintaining and developing relationships and sales throughout the UK and European territory
4. Responsible for sourcing, managing and closing leads
5. Responsible for producing an accurate sales forecast for the UK and European market
6. Expectation to travel frequently throughout the UK and Europe when necessary to provide sales and technical support
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking to appoint a self-motivated, entrepreneurial and experienced sales professional who has the ability to thrive on autonomy and is driven by success. Candidates should be highly skilled in both the origination and execution of new business. A background and proven B2B sales track record from a relevant industry sector such as textiles, manufacturing and heavy industry will be valuable sector experience to bring but is not a pre-requisite. A naturalmunicator and negotiator, the successful candidate will be motivated by achieving ambitious targets, be skilled at developing new business and maximising the potential with existing customers. Ultimately, the right candidate willbine ability and track record with high potential, the calibre and ambition to progress in the organisation and excitement about the opportunity on offer.
