This integrated marketing agency, set on the outskirts of Brum, has been quietly beavering away in the background, not showing off, enabling them to grow and grow in a considered and sensible manner. They aren’t the biggest or flashiest, but with them, you’ll find a grounded culture full of people from different backgrounds which has proven to be really successful and resulted in a very low staff turnover.
Without question, they are always growing, exploring, achieving, and looking to innovate, which puts them in a position where they can offer a Senior Account Manager the opportunity to work on a genuine mix of eclectic businesses that will help your career grow and develop.
The role
Like so many, this agency’s roots are in print but it’s so much more than that now, an agency offering brilliant marketing solutions for their clients, which cover many different sectors, but with an emphasis on b2b.
You’ll be working closely with your designated AD, who is vastly experienced, and the creative studio on several large, established clients from day one. Representing the agency as Senior Account Manager, you’ll be attending client meetings to review campaigns or to work on new projects, from the ground up, which means you’ll be involved from ideation to briefing the studio and working with creatives to come up with innovative and exciting solutions to briefs.
The existing team are extremely knowledgeable in their field and brings a wealth of experience to their clients, meaning you can rely on them fully for true marketing support. Projects will vary but may include brand and literature-based projects, photography and videography briefs, all the way through to packaging. You’d also be working across social media planning and campaign management as well as wider digital and web-focused projects.
What we’re looking for
We need someone who has true integrated experience in marketing, from either an agency or client side, although the absolute preference for this role would be for someone with both. You’re ideally at Senior Account Manager level already or an Account Manager ready for the step up, but most important you’ll have a real understanding of how marketing can impact a client’s position in their market and be happy in a mid-sized setting.
You’ll be used to briefing complex projects, either to an agency or directly to creatives and then managing them daily. Creation of marketing plans and strategic planning documents experience is required as is the know-how of controlling the seamless process of projects through a design studio. You’ll also have sound knowledge of digital design and social media and exposure to print-based campaigns (although as experts, there is a huge amount of experience in this discipline in the agency, already) to produce marketing brand-focused collateral.
