What you'll be doing:
Organising and supervising the unit according to Compass Group UK & Ireland standards, contract specifications, and statutory regulations. Managing the unit efficiently to provide quality service, overseeing food preparation, cooking, and service to meet standards. Ensuring optimal use of resources, including stock, team members, and assets.
Who you are:
* Providing strategic guidance and managing the team effectively
* Previous experience in contract catering
* Communicating, motivating, and guiding your team daily
* Setting operational responsibilities and monitoring performance
* Taking responsibility for food safety and health and safety procedures
* Regular communication with clients
* Implementing action plans from customer feedback
* Promoting the unit and acting as a Compass Group advocate
* Managing stakeholder relationships
* Ensuring high standards in client hospitality and seeking feedback
* Identifying opportunities for service improvement and innovation
* Managing budgets and monitoring trends for corrective actions
* Delivering customer requirements as expected
