PFI Housing Services Apprentice (2 Year Fixed Term Contract) Key Dates Closing Date: Monday 6th April Interview Date: Mid April tbc What you’ll be doing as a PFI housing services apprentice at Great Places. Supporting the neighbourhood PFI services team in Oldham with dedicated operational tasks – for example, but not limited to, income management, allocation of homes, low level anti-social behaviour, estate walkabout and resident involvement projects. Completing an accredited CIH L2 apprenticeship course. Shadowing neighbourhood team colleagues and attending numerous internal and external meetings with other professionals, contractors and the local authority. Supporting activity in our two PFI community centres in Oldham Based from, and play an active part in our Oldham office What we are looking for. Someone who wants to build a career with purpose. What you’ll need. Curious, can-do attitude and a desire to make a difference. A Friendly and outward going disposition. Experience of working with the public is preferable. Commitment to completing your apprenticeship and engaging with the Growing Greatness development programme. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Keen eye for detail and good organisational skills. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above would be beneficial. Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel). A clean UK driving licence and access to a car would be desirable. Ability to work as part of a team, as well as using your own initiative and time management skills to deliver tasks on time. Empathy for those who have been disadvantaged and who need help and support to achieve their goals and aspirations. Commitment to understand the challenges and opportunities that exist in the communities in which we work. We particularly value lived experience in social housing.
