We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring all payroll matters are handled with care and in full compliance with legislation while maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
Location is flexible; candidates should be within commuting distance of our Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Elgin offices.
The Payroll Specialist/Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for:
1. Processing end-to-end payroll, including complex scenarios, ensuring legislative compliance
2. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll and taxation legislation
3. Administering auto-enrolment processes, including re-enrolment
4. Conducting data analysis with strong Excel skills
5. Organising and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines with high accuracy
6. Communicating professionally with internal teams and clients
7. Managing client expectations and resolving payroll issues promptly
About You:
* You lead your work and professional learning
* You have excellent communication skills that positively influence others
* Experience with IRIS Payroll Professional/Pay Circle is advantageous but not essential
* Relevant experience in similar roles is preferred
