Pay Rate: £13.75-£14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our friendly and supportive primary school as a Teaching Assistant on a flexible, part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is new to working in education and is eager to gain experience in a nurturing school environment.
The role involves supporting teaching staff with classroom activities, helping to create an inclusive and engaging atmosphere, and working with individual pupils or small groups to support their learning and development. While no prior experience is required, a genuine interest in working with children, a willingness to learn, and a positive, proactive attitude are essential.
This position offers flexible working days, making it ideal for someone looking to gain valuable experience while balancing other commitments. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
About the role:
* Provide support in the classroom to the teacher including lesson planning, resource preparation and supporting small groups/individuals
* Help pupils develop social and behavioural skills – model positive attitude
* Assist with general administrative tasks (e.g., photocopying, filing)
* Support with interventions and small groups for those with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
