As The Quality Technician You Will
* Perform a variety of testing of incoming raw material and manufactured material, including some laboratory testing on final products.
* Enter data into quality system databases and maintain test, inspection and calibration records.
* Partner with technical support, manufacturing, quality engineers, and operations staff to meet objectives.
* Inspect finished product and authorize it to be released to customers.
* Update standard operating procedures and participate in problem solving activities using 5Ws, 8D, Fishbone, etc.
* Provide support for customer complaints and support health, safety and environmental work as required.
We Are Looking For a Quality Technician With
* Science / Engineering to at least A level / HNC / HND standard.
* Conscientious and thorough.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work with math and statistical equations, as well as mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, and graphical or chart interpretations.
* Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO9001/14001, IATF16949 and statistical concepts.
* Knowledge of SPC, PPAP, data analysis.
* Ability to work independently or in a team, as needed to meet goals.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Detail oriented and highly organized.
* Flexible attitude.
* Ability to work from home (laptop provided).
You will be part of a diverse team of five that collaborate throughout the business.
In return you will receive a salary of up to GBP 26,000 per annum.
