The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Environmental & Compliance Manager to lead our integrated management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO and oversee all company compliance activities.
This is not a Health and Safety role — monthly independent H&S audits are carried out by a specialist third-party. Your focus will be on managing those reports, ensuring close-out of actions, driving continual improvement, and embedding environmental, sustainability, and quality best practice across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and continually improve our ISO-certified management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO
Oversee third-party monthly Health and Safety audits, ensuring findings are actioned and compliance maintained.
Lead environmental initiatives, including delivery of our Carbon Reduction Plan, emissions reporting, and sustainability training.
Deliver engaging compliance and awareness training for staff and subcontractors.
Conduct internal audits and inspections, producing actionable reports for senior leadership.
Support project teams in meeting client compliance requirements.
Liaise with accreditation bodies, clients, and regulatory authorities.
Track and report SHEQ / HSEQ / QHSE performance metrics and recommend improvement actions.
What You'll Bring
Relevant qualification in environmental management, quality management, health and safety, or related field (e.g. NEBOSH, IEMA, IRCA).
Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
Experience in a compliance, environmental, HSEQ, QHSE, or health and safety role — ideally within construction or a related industry such as manufacturing, facilities management, or utilities.
Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
