Join the UK’s Premier Parcel & Post Delivery Company Business Development Manager (Mail) As a Business Development Manager (Mail), you will be responsible for securing new business and delivering profitable growth across your customer portfolio. You will manage the full sales lifecycle—from identifying prospects through to onboarding and early‑life customer support—ensuring exceptional service and long‑term partnerships. This role requires fantastic energy and drive, passion for building commercial and long‑lasting relationships. The position offers a competitive base salary, car allowance, and an uncapped commission. The remit is national. Key Responsibilities
Prospect and win new customers with annual net revenues up to £500k Build strong relationships with procurement bodies, print management companies and mailing houses to generate ongoing sales leads. Develop and present compelling sales propositions, managing opportunities from lead to live trading customer. Engage key decision‑makers within prospect organisations to influence and secure business. Manage tenders, onboarding processes and implementation plans to meet strict deadlines and revenue targets. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure successful onboarding and service delivery. Accurately model costs and profitability to support competitive and sustainable pricing. Lead contract negotiations, price reviews, and maintain strong trading relationships. Conduct onboarding, service reviews, and ensure smooth transition to account management teams. Provide reporting, forecasting and insights to management as required. Represent the business professionally at all times with customers and external stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For
Ideally 5+ years of relevant proven sales/business development experience preferably within mail, print, logistics but open to other sectors (training will be provided) Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills Experience of managing formal tenders and winning new business Ability to manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to onboarding Commercially minded with the ability to assess profitability and pricing models Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Minimum GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) UK Driving Licence
