Overview
We are seeking Level 6 qualified Careers Advisers with experience working in school settings on a term‑time only contract. Two posts are available as soon as possible, both providing maternity cover until 1 January 2027.
Responsibilities
Provide Careers Information, Advice and Guidance to young people in secondary schools, colleges, pupil referral units and community settings.
Qualifications
* Level 6 qualification in careers or related field.
* Experience working in a school setting.
* Strong communication and guidance skills.
Work Hours & Location
The role can be 15 or 30 hours per week, term time only, over 38–39 weeks per year. You will be based in a Wakefield secondary school for 2 days per week. Additional permanent hours (1 day per week) are available as part of a combined digital IAG role supporting NEET young people.
