Contract Outline
* EC&I Engineer
* Sector: Oil & Gas / ATEX
* Location: Norwich or Nottingham (Hybrid)
* Contract Length: 6 months
* IR35: Outside
* Rate: £45-50ph
Role Overview
* Understand hazardous areas and BS/IEC standards e.g. ATEX, IECEx (Brazilian compliance).
* Understanding of no-electrical Ex equipment and standards, such as ISO (phone number removed)/7.
* Understand and design PLC's (Hardware and architecture).
* Design and layout of E&I equipment against package installation and generation of E&I documentation.
* Design of MCC switchgear panels, PLC panels and associated relay logic.
* Rockwell PLC/HMI software and hardware knowledge advantageous.
* Make sure you are meeting client design standards.
* HPU and/or chemical injection system experience preferred.
