We are recruiting a Customer Consultant to work at our Blackburn branch.
Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact: warmly welcome customers in-branch and over the phone to make a positive first impression.
* Engage and understand: ask insightful questions to uncover needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Listen and tailor solutions: consider each customer’s circumstances to offer personalized outcomes that benefit the customer and the society.
* Proactive outreach: contact customers by phone to identify needs and discuss how we can support them.
* Maintain accurate records: keep customer records up to date in internal systems, with focus on vulnerable customers.
* Adhere to policies: understand and follow policies, standards and controls, with training and coaching provided.
What We Need From You
* Previous experience interacting with customers. We welcome candidates who have not worked in a bank or building society before, and are open to diverse backgrounds.
* Your experience may be in person or over the phone; flexible engagement is valued as customers use multiple channels.
* Your background may include retail, food & beverage, guest services or health/care; demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional service.
* The ability to work well with others in a one-team mindset.
* Ability to respond quickly during busy periods and manage time effectively with a variety of customers.
* A desire and ability to grow, adapt and change with business needs.

The role is permanent, 36 hours per week across Monday to Saturday with exact hours discussed at interview. Salary is £23,600 per annum.
