Requirements:
Proven supervisory experience in a high-volume e-commerce or logistics environment, with responsibility for managing shift teams and meeting throughput targets
Strong operational knowledge of warehouse processes, including inbound, picking, packing, despatch, and use of WMS/handheld systems
Demonstrated people management capability, including shift planning, performance management, coaching, and handling absence and discipline
Working knowledge of health & safety and compliance requirements, with experience enforcing site standards during unsupervised night operations
Ability to manage KPIs and reporting, such as productivity, error rates, service levels, and labour utilisation
Flexibility and resilience to work night shifts and manage incidents independently, including decision-making under time pressure
Responsibilities:
As a Night shift supervisor, you will:
Lead and supervise the night shift team to achieve planned volumes, service levels, and productivity targets
Allocate labour and resources across work areas, adjusting in real time to manage peaks, shortfalls, and absences
Monitor workflow across inbound, picking, packing, and despatch to ensure smooth end-to-end operation
Ensure full compliance with health & safety, security, and site procedures during unsupervised hours
Conduct shift briefings, performance reviews, and handovers to the day management team
Track and report key KPIs, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions
