Industrial Safety Manager – Sizewell B
We’re looking for a dedicated safety professional to lead on‑site health, safety, and environmental practices at one of the UK’s most important energy facilities. This is a full‑time, permanent role offering the opportunity to make a real impact within a high‑profile environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee industrial safety and environmental systems on site
* Lead daily meetings with EDF, our end client
* Conduct site inspections to ensure teams are adhering to safety standards
* Maintain and enforce the highest safety and compliance levels
* Promote a strong SHEQ culture and drive quality assurance
* Build and manage stakeholder relationships effectively
* Provide line management to the Subcontractor Manager
About You
You’re an organised, safety‑focused professional with proven experience in high‑risk or COMAH‑regulated environments. You’re confident in driving standards, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring full compliance.
Qualifications
* NEBOSH General Certificate (Level 6)
* ISO 9001 Internal Auditor training
* Experience in high‑safety risk environments or COMAH sites
* Strong knowledge of H&S management systems and compliance
* Clear communicator across all levels
* Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills
* Understanding of technical or facilities management disciplines
