Job Title: Financial Education Officer
Join HSBC, a leading global bank, and help improve financial literacy among young people and vulnerable adults. Based within the Wealth and Personal Banking division, this role involves working with schools, youth groups, colleges, and universities across the UK to deliver financial education programs.
Responsibilities include:
1. Managing a portfolio of schools and liaising with teaching staff to promote HSBC's Smart Money program.
2. Supporting schools during Ofsted visits and demonstrating the value of financial education.
3. Delivering educational content in person and online, supporting remote learning initiatives.
4. Participating in community activities and supporting volunteer efforts to promote financial capability.
5. Collaborating with external partners to enhance educational offerings.
6. Piloting new learning content to develop best-in-class lessons for ages 3-25.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience in education, finance, or related fields, with knowledge of school systems and curricula.
* Strong organizational, digital, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to work independently and adapt to changing challenges.
* Passion for supporting youth development and financial literacy.
The role is based in Birmingham, with flexibility for applicants from Lincolnshire, Peterborough, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, and the South East. Frequent travel and quarterly team meetings at Birmingham are expected.
