Area Relief SupervisorAre you an experienced and dynamicMulti Skilled Supervisorlooking for your next position?We are currently looking for anArea ReliefSupervisorbased primarily at our Mangreendepot, but providing operative and supervisor cover across the South East Aggregates business. The role will involve undertaking multiple cover duties within S&G Quarries, Recycling depots, railhead and more. Duties will include operations of mobile plant such as Loading shovels, Telehandlers, Tractors etc. Operation of Tarmac Weighbridges and also supervision of sites, staff and contractors to provide cover and assistance for Managers and Supervisors.Main ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities as theArea Relief Supervisorwill include (not exhaustive):Operating Mobile Plant on sitesOperation of Weighbridge'sDischarge of Train'sSupervision of Staff and ContractorsAssisting the Operations Manager with meeting daily/weekly production targetsFollowing SHE policies and proceduresEnsuring Plant conforms with safety requirements at all timesHealth, Safety, Environmental and Quality responsibilitiesInspections on the fixed and mobile plant, acting on defects and implement remedial actionEnsuring that plant availability is maximisedWorking to keep housekeeping around site to a high standardActing as an isolation owner for Maintenance activities by staff and contractorsUndertaking Contractor Clearances and Issuing PermitsUndertaking Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and Stop AssessmentsThe nature of the role will require frequent travel to depots other than your base and may include OOH work such as nights and weekends as required by the business, so flexibility with working hours is essential. All hours beyond 48hr working week will be paid at set overtime rates.
