Main Accountabilities:
1. Site planning: Plans on-site project activities related to the assigned discipline with Site Manager or Site Construction Manager, including necessary local resources, equipment, and milestones. Coordinates agreement between customer and external resources on installation/construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization, and policy.
2. Site coordination and monitoring: Responsible for coordinating all on-site activities related to the assigned discipline, from receiving the site area to handover, ensuring successful execution of start-up, installation, erection, testing, and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
3. Stakeholder relations: Acts as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and other local organizations.
4. Health, safety, environment (HSE), and project security: Ensures a detailed and up-to-date construction H&S plan is in place for each work package, compliant with company policies. Promotes health and safety awareness among on-site resources and can suspend activities in case of violations. Ensures proper handling, storage, and installation of equipment, coordinating logistics to secure timely delivery.
5. Sub-contractors: Manages sub-contractors hired by ABB to ensure quality and progress meet standards and delivery schedules.
6. Site cost management: Controls project costs, monitors spend against forecasts, estimates final costs, manages petty cash, and handles local purchasing within delegated authority.
7. Documentation: Maintains all project documentation, ensuring updates and latest revisions are used on-site.
8. People leadership and development: Organizes, staffs, and directs the team, providing guidance, motivation, and development. Coordinates local site facilities and resources.
Summary:
Supervises a team in executing tasks within an assigned area, ensuring proper work assignment and performance reviews. Candidates should have several years of experience as a Site Supervisor, with expertise in Site Management, HSE, Environment, Quality Assurance & Control, Installation Works, and basic knowledge of Commissioning and Civil Works.
