Overview CNBC International are looking for a HR Coordinator to provide support to the International HR team in employee lifecycle processes. This role provides exposure to a range of generalist activities, embedding the HR Coordinator as a key member of the HR team for the business. You will be the first point of contact for all HR related queries and will be accountable for ensuring that all HR administration and enquiries are addressed in a professional, efficient, timely manner. You'll be joining a collaborative and friendly team based in our London Newsroom at Fleet Place, where CNBC broadcasts live TV news programming on each business day. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, CNBC International, this role offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build on their HR Generalist skills within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Assist with tracking and implementation of a wide range of HR projects - Play a proactive, hands-on role in the delivery and organisation of employee engagement events across CNBC International. - Serve as primary expert for all HR systems and transactions to keep our business running - Accurately maintain and update our employee database and any other HR systems - Prepare relevant letters and documents for new and/or existing staff - Manage all on boarding activities, including HR & benefits induction - Track and capture all visa and immigration related documentation - Prepare the system to post new roles, prepare job descriptions and work closely with the Talent Acquisition team where relevant, including supporting line managers in the hiring process - Process any system data changes, workflows & paperwork for life cycle events such as promotions and transfers, liaising with HR Operations & HR Connections where needed to ensure correct processing - Partner with the HR Generalist on all monthly payroll changes for UK employees; including starters and leavers, and work closely with payroll to ensure they have up to date and accurate information - Organize, conduct and maintain data on leavers and exit interviews - Assist in any program rollouts (i.e. performance review process, salary planning, benefits open enrolment, early careers programs, etc.) - Support with note taking in a variety of HR meetings. - Support Global Mobility in managing internal and external relocations, and remote working requests - Use HR systems to provide accurate reports and data to HR business partners and business leaders - Check and process invoices - Run/generate monthly and ad hoc employee data reports Skills, Experience and Requirements - Previous experience in a HR environment would be highly advantageous - Experience demonstrating ability to develop, implement and administer new processes and project deliverables - Fluency in written and spoken English, which includes the use of accurate grammar - Excellent digital fluency skills including ability to coordinate and administer meetings using digital communication platforms applications (e.g., Zoom, and Teams) and strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. - Ability to succinctly record in writing the main points of what is presented in a meeting, highlighting important key topics or themes that are emphasized, and organizing the material in a style that will best capture facts, ideas, and action item - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group of management and staff including executive levels - Methodical and organised in your approach to work with high attention to detail and a professional, calm manner - Ability to prioritise tasks and a pro-active, solutions orientated approach to work - A supportive and collaborative team member with strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent written and oral communications - Punctual and able to effectively manage time - Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information - Adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines - Strong attention to detail The responsibilities associated with this position are not limited to the above description and may be modified at any time by the Company.
