The Role
We are seeking a sports turf specialist with experience in greenkeeping or sports turf management to join our Grounds team as Senior Sports Turf Operative. In this role you will contribute sports turf knowledge to the delivery of strategic plans and work programmes that are under the control of the Grounds Manager and Deputy Grounds Manager.
This is a full-time role working an average 40 hours per week, with allowances for summer and winter daylight when hours may be varied.
About You
As Senior Sports Turf Operative, you have a good working knowledge of all aspects of groundsmanship and excellent understanding of the requirements of sports turf surface preparation. You will have a clear understanding of the relevant health and safety legislation and experience of driving machinery used to prepare and maintain sports turf. A keen interest in sports (including cricket) would be useful.
