Job Title: Area Manager – Cleaning (North West & West Yorkshire)
Location: Preston / Leeds / Carlisle (Field-based)
Salary: £35,000 per annum + Company Car + Annual Bonus
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 45 hours per week | 6 days out of 7 (rotational)
Role Overview
TC Facilities Management are recruiting an experienced Area Manager to support a portfolio of motorway service locations across the North West & West Yorkshire region. The role covers sites from Carlisle to Lancaster/Preston, and across to Leeds, Ferrybridge and Wetherby.
This is a hands-on, operational role focused on people leadership, service delivery and customer engagement across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and support cleaning teams across multiple locations
*
Deliver high standards of service across all sites
*
Build and maintain strong client relationships
*
Recruit, train and develop site-based teams
*
Monitor KPIs and operational performance
*
Complete audits and ensure follow-up actions are delivered
*
Manage budgets, staffing hours and resources
*
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company processes
*
Ensure sites are correctly equipped with materials and machinery
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous experience as an Area Manager, Contract Manager or similar multi-site role
*
Strong people management and leadership skills
*
Experience managing performance, audits and KPIs
*
Full UK driving licence (essential)
*
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment
