Job Description
Job Duties:
12. Conduct assessments of engineering apprentices in accordance with awarding body standards
13. Ensure all assessment activities are carried out efficiently and effectively
14. Provide constructive feedback to apprentices to support their learning and development
15. Conduct internal quality assurance (IQA) activities to ensure assessment processes are robust and consistent
16. Maintain accurate records of assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
17. Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve assessment processes and standards
Required Qualifications and Experience:
18. Recognised Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, CAVA)
19. Relevant engineering qualification at Level 3 or above
20. At least 2 years of experience in assessing engineering apprentices
21. Experience in conducting internal quality assurance activities
22. Experience within related industries
Preferred Qualifications:
23. Verifier qualification (e.g., V1, IQA)
24. Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS)
