IT Technician at Customs Support Group
Join our dynamic IT & Tech department at Customs Support Group as an IT Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our team members.
Key Duties
* Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
* Assist in network maintenance and security tasks
* Collaborate with team members to enhance IT infrastructure
Accountabilities
* Provide timely technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
* Conduct training sessions for basic computer technical issue resolution.
* Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
* Ensure security and confidentiality of organizational data through IT policy enforcement.
* Assist in setup and maintenance of computer systems, including hardware and software installations.
Responsibilities
* Respond to and prioritize help desk tickets with excellent customer service.
* Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including updates, backups, and optimizations.
* Stay updated on industry trends and technologies for proactive recommendations.
* Document IT procedures and solutions for knowledge sharing and training.
* Collaborate with third‑party vendors for hardware and software procurement and support.

Person Specification
