The Royal Society of Chemistry is a not-for-profit publisher of high-quality chemical science knowledge and the professional body for chemists in the UK. Accountabilities
* Manage a review of the RSC Researcher Grants Peer Review Group, a group of volunteer assessors for our researcher grants. The review will comprise data analysis and engaging with assessors through surveys and interviews to gather insight and feedback.
* Develop recommendations, based on the review outcomes, to improve assessor recruitment, training, support, and overall experience.
* Support the day‑to‑day administration of the Researcher Grants Programme, including analysis of impact reports.
Knowledge and skills required
* Proficient in MS Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables and data visualisation
* Project management skills, with experience in planning, organising and tracking progress
* Creative problem‑solver, able to develop and implement innovative solutions
* Knowledge of academic research and research funding environments
