Job Description
You will be part of an established Crisis resolution and home treatment team supporting patients who are acutely unwell in the community. The role involves providing the best level of care while patients remain in their own homes. We support individuals experiencing an acute episode and those discharged from inpatient wards, offering a menu of interventions to ensure high-quality care.
This is an opportunity to develop your skills and career within a dynamic service. You will play a key role in a multidisciplinary team, supporting qualified and support workers.
Main Purpose
The primary goal is to support service users in establishing greater control over their lives by identifying meaningful aspects that give hope, value, and purpose, recognizing that recovery is a personal process.
Role Responsibilities
* Support individuals within the service by role modeling and utilizing lived experience.
* Work within the Rapid Response function, undertaking assessments 24/7 received from the Urgent Mental Health Helpline.
* Conduct gatekeeping assessments with qualified staff.
* Work with service users on a one-to-one or group basis, supporting them to reach their recovery goals.
* Collaborate with the wider staff group to create a supportive environment.
* Perform a variety of tasks, some of which will be initiated by service users, others requested by staff.
* Work flexibly as required by the service.
