CAD Technician – Roofing & Façade Design Location: Darlington Salary: £40,000 – £47,500 (competitive, aligned with experience – please don’t let salary expectations stop you applying) We’re looking for a CAD Technician with experience in roofing, cladding, or rainscreen systems (curtain walling experience also considered) to join a specialist building envelope contractor in Darlington. The Role Produce accurate 2D CAD drawings for roofing, cladding and façade systems Support material take-offs, schedules and design coordination Work closely with design teams, engineers and site staff Be involved across the full project lifecycle, from concept to installation About You Proven CAD Technician/Draughtsperson experience in roofing, cladding or rainscreen design Proficient in AutoCAD (3D desirable but not essential) HNC or equivalent in construction, design or engineering Detail-driven with strong communication and organisational skills Why Apply?
